Who these terms are with

This website is operated by Royal Eagle Power Inc., trading as Eagle Power, of 101 29th St E #104, North Vancouver, BC V7N 1C5, Canada. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Royal Eagle Power Inc., and “you” means the person using the site.

Using this website

You may use this site to learn about our services, read our articles and contact us about electrical work. You must be at least 13 years old to use it, and old enough to enter a contract in British Columbia if you want to engage us for work.

You agree not to:

• Use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaches anyone else's rights.
• Send us false, misleading or fraudulent enquiries, or submit the form on someone else's behalf without their permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or any system connected to it.
• Copy, scrape or republish the site's content or images for a competing commercial purpose.
• Interfere with the site's operation, or with anyone else's use of it.

Intellectual property and our content

All intellectual property in this website — the copyright in its text, photographs, articles, logo, design and layout — belongs to Royal Eagle Power Inc. or is used with the owner's permission. We reserve all rights we do not expressly grant you here.

You may view, download and print pages for your own personal use in considering or arranging electrical work. Any other use of our intellectual property — in particular copying, scraping or republishing our content, photographs or service descriptions on another business's website, listing or marketing — requires our written permission first.

The Eagle Power name and logo are our trade-marks. Nothing on this site grants you a licence to use them, and you must not use them in a way that suggests we endorse or are associated with you. If you believe content on this site infringes your own intellectual property, contact us at info@eaglepower.ca and we will investigate promptly.

Accuracy of information

We try to keep this site accurate and current, including our service descriptions, articles and service areas. Even so, information here is general and may become out of date, and it is not a substitute for advice about your specific property.

Nothing on this website is professional electrical advice, and you should not rely on it to diagnose or fix an electrical problem yourself. Electrical work carries a genuine risk of fire, injury and death, and in British Columbia much of it must be done by a licensed contractor under permit. If you think something is unsafe, stop, keep clear of it, and call us or your utility.

Enquiries, quotes and contracts

Sending an enquiry through this site does not create a contract, and nothing on this site is a binding offer. It is a request for us to get in touch.

Any price you see or are quoted before we have seen the site is an estimate only. A firm price depends on inspecting the property, the condition of the existing wiring and panel, permit requirements and material availability. Where we give you a written quote, that quote and any terms attached to it govern the work — not this website.

We may decline an enquiry, or be unable to take on work, for any lawful reason, including capacity, location, or safety concerns about the job.

Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, or take it down for maintenance, without notice.

Our emergency service is arranged by telephone. Do not rely on this website, or on a form submission, to reach us in an emergency — call (778) 680-3535.

Third-party links and services

This site links to and embeds third-party services, including a Google Map, Google Fonts, a Google Ads tag, our Google Business Profile, our Better Business Bureau listing and our Facebook page. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.

Our liability

We provide this website “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties about the site itself, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss arising from your reliance on general information published here rather than on advice we gave you about your property.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under British Columbia consumer protection legislation. This section is about the website. It does not limit our responsibility for electrical work we actually carry out, which is governed by our quote, our workmanship warranty and applicable law.

Your responsibility

If you use this site in breach of these terms and that causes us loss, or a claim from someone else, you agree to be responsible for the reasonable costs and damages that result.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, which cookies we set, who we share information with, and the rights you have. It forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services or the site change. The current version is always the one on this page, with its “last updated” date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply there.

You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of British Columbia. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory law of the place where you live.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we do not lose the right to enforce it later. These terms are between you and us, and no one else can enforce them.
